Four players with a ball each form a diamond around the player without. The smaller the diamond the faster the passing and the greater he demand on the centre player. |

The player in the middle must turn and receive a pass from the players around them. They must then return the ball back to them with a first time pass. The order in which the balls are passed in depend on the player in the middle, as they choose but they should not be allowed to go around in circles.
The pass into the man in the middle should be correctly weighted, accurate and along the floor, ideally to their stronger side. This is because all these factors contribute to the receiving player being able to pass it back first time. The ball should also not be played to them until they have called for it, eye contact has been made and are fully turned. If the player does not call or make eye contact, then the pass is not played.
The return ball from the middle player to the outside should also be correctly weighted, accurate and along the floor. The receiving player then controls it and waits until the active player requests the pass again.
Alternate the player in the middle every few minutes.
