  3. Communication
Starting Position

Split players into groups of 6. 3 players stand in 2 lines opposite each other. The ball begins at the front of one of the lines.

The ball is passed from one line to the person at the front of the other line. The passer then follows their pass to join the back of the line opposite. The receiving player then gets in line with the ball and passes it back first time to the person now at the front of the line. They then follow their pass to the back of the other line. This sequence then continues for as long as the coach desires.

Encourage players to pass the ball straight and with the correct weighting so that the receiver can pass it back first time. The ball should also be passed to the stronger side of the individual receiving. The receiving players should be on the front of their feet so they are prepared to move into line with any poor passes.

To increase the difficulty the ball can be played in the air to the thigh or chest of the other player. They must then control it and return it in the air to the next player.

Players should be constantly calling for the ball and stating who it is going to, encourage good habits.
