Injuries in Football

This section is divided into the 3 phases that an injured player can go through. Each is crucial to the injury process.

Injury Prevention: Due to the nature of the sport an individual can experience a whole range of soccer injuries. However there are some that are more common than others. For this reason this section highlights these injuries and the processes that can be used to reduce the chance of them occurring in both matches and sessions. Enter this Section

Injury Procedures: There will occur times when, even with the best preparation, soccer injuries do occur. They can be small, minor ones or they can be serious ones that require the administration of first aid. In both situations the coaching staff should be fully aware of how to act in these situations so that the injured player receives the best possible treatment before the qualified help arrives. Injury Rehabilitation: As not all clubs or teams will have access to physiotherapists it will become the coaches’ role to aid their players’ during their rehabilitation phase. Enter this Section
