The goalkeeper has an integral role within the overall team’s performance. A well rounded and technically competent goalkeeper can not only directly dictate the outcome of a match but can also install confidence throughout the entire team.
Warm Up : The Goalkeeper occupies a special position and they perform many actions and movements that the rest of their team mates will not. For this reason their warm up will be slightly different to that of an outfield player. Sessions : The reasoning behind the warm up is also true for coaching sessions. Outfield players can all complete the same kind of sessions but these sessions will not be appropriate to the role that the goalkeeper plays within the team.
