An attribute that is not only required by goalkeepers but all players.
Agility refers to the ability of an individual to change the direction of their movement or the direction of their body suddenly, without losing their balance.
Crucial for players that are changing direction to gain an advantage or attempting to prevent an opponent from gaining one. Also if an individuals' body is used to performing twisting and turning movements and changing direction at full speed, then they are less likely to suffer an injury when undertaking such movements in a game.
These exercises look to improve an individuals co-ordination, strength and speed when turning and moving, so that their overall agility is improved.
