Dealing with Concerns


Parents / carers and children need to be fully informed about the areas of Child Protection. However being informed is really not enough, because knowing what you are looking at does not necessarily mean you know how to deal with it in the best possible way. Whatever action to be taken must always be in the best interest of the child concerned and based on tried and tested methods. Failing to react quickly enough, following incorrect procedures or deciding to ignore the situation can all lead to a fatal outcome. Being informed will certainly give the child a better chance.
