Scouting and Reporting

There may come times when it is possible for an opponent to be watched in advance or there may be a player that your club desires. In both situations it is crucial that all the relevant and correct information is obtained. Included within this segment are some forms that can be used to ensure that no information is overlooked.

Player Scouting (blank) : Knowing whether a player has the right attributes and personality before signing them is a crucial element of the recruiting process. This form provides an area for assessing all the desired attributes, to ensure the player is fully analysed. This version is blank so that the different headings can be easily digested and remember. There is also the ability to print this page to use at a latter date. View form*

Team Scouting (blank) : Knowing all of an opposition’s strengths and weaknesses before playing is a very nice luxury to have. However when observing a future opponent it would be very frustrating to realise that an aspect of their game went unseen. For this reason a team scouting sheet is supplied so that it is clearly evident which information should be looked for so that nothing potentially significant is overlooked. View form*

Match Report : This form can be filled in to analyse both teams within a match. It allows for all the main elements of each team to be summarised and commented upon. By completing a match report after every game played, an extensive collection of factual analysis revolving around the team’s strengths, weaknesses and required improvement can be obtained. This is also a very good evaluative tool that can be used in the planning and preparation stages for future sessions. View form*
